These elements are used to control and operate the machinery. A classic example is the hand wheel, which can be made of different materials, and completed with e.g. a turning handle. Other examples are: a crank handle, handrail, handles of various shapes, bolts and nuts with a shaped head, etc.
The decisive aspect for selection of the most suitable controlling element is not only its size, which should correspond to the controlling force transmitted, but also its design and material. The scope of materials, which the controlling elements are made of, must cover the extensive demands determined by the environment, climate, and temperature range in which the relevant part should work. Available materials: durable plastic, thermoplastic, aluminium alloy, grey cast iron.
A very important group among the operating elements are adjustable clamping levers by pulling. Their advantage is easy operation and handling. After tightening or loosening, the handle can be released, shifted to the position where it does not interfere, and once the pulling is released, a spring will lock the lever again, which connects the handle with the threaded part by means of a multi-facetted tool. Available options: with bolt and female thread, bolt material: brown finish steel or stainless steel, handle material: plastic or zinc alloy.
