Shaft joint extendable are used for the transmission of rotation movement and torque between the shafts whose axis does not lie in one line. Telescopic propeller shaft has the same principle of use, but the connected shafts may swap their positions during operation without interrupting the transmission of rotation movement from the driving shaft to the driven shaft. For classic shaft connection in a single axis, shaft couplings are used. The couplings are predominantly used for connecting the shafts with respect to various types of misalignments. The couplings are also able to absorb and dampen vibrations or impacts. Accordingly, one can differentiate two types of couplings: flexible shaft couplings and rigid (backlash-free) shaft couplings. Torque limiters play a safety function wherever the equipment needs to be protected against dangerous overload or impacts from the machine. This way, they reduce the unwanted downtimes and eliminate equipment malfunctions. Limiters can be set to a defined value; when this value is exceeded, they shut the equipment down. The range of limiters includes mechanical ones which react immediately, unlike electronic devices.
Splined shufts and hubs are used predominantly for a linear guidance system. Splined shufts and hubs are covered by DIN ISO 14. Splined shafts are made of steel C45. Splined hubs are supplied in three versions: tubular, flanged or clamping rings. The complete range of products is supplied from the warehouse.
