Timing belt conveyors are intended exclusively for moving products in pieces. Timng belt conveyors are based on a frame taken from the “item” system.
These conveyors are the alternative to belt conveyors - they extend the application area of Haberkorn - Ulmer conveyors.
Technical design of the standard timing belt conveyor:
The basic frame of the conveyor is made of aluminium grooved profiles of the “item” modular system
Depending on the nature of the material being conveyed, more than two timing belt conveyor branches can be selected
The belt is moved by the aluminium driving and driven sprocket wheel
Aluminium turnbuckles for the driven and driving sprocket with swivelling ball bearings for tensioning the transport belt
Plastic slide-way under the timing belt, with a flat or folded outer edge (side guidance)
Polyurethane timing belt, abrasion and oil resistant
The drive comprises a compact unit composed of a three-phase asynchronous electric drive and a worm-gear system, or the drive is completed with an inserted transmission gear with an indented belt.
The speed is either constant or can be controlled by means of a frequency converter. At the conveyor with an inserted gearing mechanism, it is possible to change the constant speed by replacing the transmission gear, which consists of a timing belt and two pulleys.
The conveyor is available either with or without the supporting structure The structure of the conveyor is made of aluminium grooved profiles of the “item” modular system. The supporting structure can also be designed and manufactured with an adjustable height (manual or with a drive) or in a diagonal arrangement.
The conveyor is also available including electrical connection
Advantages of timing belt conveyors:
Possibility of moving wide lump materials
Possibility of selecting more than two branches
Thanks to the gap between the individual branches, it is possible to convey even the materials that reach under the upper branch of the conveyor
Higher load-carrying capacity than belt conveyors
Fast assembly and delivery
Quiet run, allowing the use of conveyors in assembly lines with permanent attendance (of an operator)
Possibility of managing special customer requirements, such as a conveyor for an environment with an increased occurrence of oil
Further accessories available for the conveyors:
Mechanical endstop
Adjustable or fixed side guidance
Motor 1x230V
Electrical connection of conveyors, incl. such elements as optical sensors with a cat's eye, safety STOP buttons, etc.
Special solution:
Conveyor with a convertible branch - used for moving lump products with various widths
