Waste sorting

Waste sorting should be a common daily occurrence, both in households and at all workplaces, but unfortunately this is not the case everywhere.

The Czech Republic has been on the top of the European list of countries with the largest share of sorted waste, which is great, but we have still something to improve. The entire Haberkorn Group is one of the socially responsible companies that takes care of waste sorting and reduction in the company, and our Czech branch is not far behind.

We sort plastics, paper, glass, electrical waste and the correct disposal of hazardous waste, metal and other residual waste is a matter of course. Last year, we also decided to cancel the purchase of plastic water bottles and replaced them by glass carafes for drinking tap water. We have reduced the production of surplus plastic and we are still looking for ways to move forward in the area of waste sorting. We also make sure that employees are generally informed so that everyone knows how and what to sort.

Not only waste sorting helps protect nature and the environment, but we also save primary resources, that are not inexhaustible. Recycling allows that, all materials do not end up in landfills and can be reused to produce of a new products that we can use.

Sort the waste, it has effect!
